Account & Registration

• How do I sign up for a course?
  Visit our online courses website here. Look for the course you are interested in, and click the “ENROL FOR FREE” button:
  
  
  
  You will be directed to the sign-up page. To sign up, simply enter your email address, password, and name.
  
  
  
  Upon successfully creating an account, you will receive a confirmation email.
  
  You can access the course by clicking “Click here” in the confirmation email sent to you:
  
  
  
  Alternatively, you can also start your learning journey by clicking the button "Access this course now>>>" on the course page:
  
  
  
  If you are encountering issues in your enrolment please email us at courses@nationalgallery.sg.

• How do I access my course?
  After logging into your account, there are two ways you can access the course.
  1. At the top right-hand corner of the website, you will see the “My Courses” tab. Click this and it will lead you to the course page.
  2. If you have already successfully enrolled in the course, you can directly access the course by clicking “enter now".
  
  
• I have forgotten my password
  Click on the “Don’t remember your password?” link located above the log-in bar.
  
  
  
  A new page will pop up to request for your password. Please enter your email address, and an email to reset your password will be sent to you.
  
  
  
  
• Can I sign up to a course / courses with multiple email addresses?
  To better track your own learning progress across multiple courses, we recommend that you sign up with one email address.

Course Content

• How will the course be delivered?
  The lessons include a variety of videos, short readings, quizzes, and activities.
  
  If you would like to find out more, check out our additional readings and resources, and chat with other learners in discussions. To better understand how you can optimise your learning experience, check out the Learner’s Guide and watch our introduction video in the course site.
  
  
• Is there a start date and end date to this course?
  Each course has no start or end date. Feel free to learn at your own pace, but we do recommend not take too much time between lessons so that you can better connect the ideas taught.
  
  
• How long do I need to complete this course?
  There are six lessons in this course. The main resources in each lesson include a video, reading material, and quizzes, and may take approximately 60 minutes to complete, though this may depend on the pace of each learner. We also encourage you to read the additional readings and resources at your own time.
  
  
• Is this course certified?
  We do not currently provide certification to learners who complete the “As We See It: Visual Analysis Through Southeast Asian Art” course.
  
  
• The video is not loading, what should I do?
  This could be due to your network connection. Try checking your connection and reload the video again.
  
  You may wish to also subscribe to National Gallery Singapore’s YouTube channel and watch the videos there.
  
  
• I am unable to access the quiz questions, what should I do?
  Please click here to find out how to access the quiz.
  
  
• Can I retake the quizzes?
  Yes, you may attempt each quiz up to three times.
  
  
• Where do I reply to a thread in a discussion?
  Please click here to find how you can reply to a thread.
  
  
• Can I view the course on mobile devices like smart phones and tablets?
  Yes, you may view the course on smart phones and tablets. However,  the course is best experienced on a laptop /  desktop.
